3D Guys is not a company!

We are a few guys who are mechanical engineers, freeform modelers and project managers. Each of us have full time jobs but are highly motivated and experts in the Rapid Prototyping field.

All of us have up to date experience in the field of Rapid Prototyping and the preparation of 3D files as well as utilizing all the services on this site.

This site is an internet business card for the guys below. Also we link to the best Rapid Prototyping solutions that will help you with prototyping and production of your products.

Ken Christensen

28 years in engineering and design, working on projects from automotive aftermarket accessories and medical equipment to high vacuum and ultra-high vacuum equipment used in particle physics and chip production. Ken has a very broad design background with expertise in injection molding, casting, standard machining techniques and has extensive knowledge of multi-axis motion product design.

Below is an image of a single axis motion product for use in vacuum environments. This product is produced using aluminum castings, standard machining techniques, deep draw forming, and welding.
